Louis Consulting and Systems Integration (LCSI) is a telecommunications consulting and service provisioning firm specializing in Enhanced 911 (E911) technologies. Our focus is to provide a high level of support to companies in need of identifying and managing location information associated with their internal telephony environments. Our ultimate goal is to ensure customers have a means to accurately populate an appropriate Automatic Location Identification (ALI) database with information that will ensure the customers’ 911 calls are routed to the correct Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and the correct caller address is delivered to that PSAP for the call taker’s display. LCSI hosts two products that serve our customer base: ALIPro™ (Automatic Location Identification Processing) and ALIProWeb™.
ALIPro™ is a fully automated service that compiles data from various outputs of a customer’s core telephony infrastructure or management system, processes the data to determine change activity, generates an update file for submission to the ALI DBMS of record , submits changes to the ALI DBMS, synchronizes a local copy of the customer records in the ALI database, and reports results and potential data integrity anomalies back to the customer. This product has been in service for over 32 years and is designed as a full PS/ALI solution for customers with greater than 5,000 Direct Inward Dial (DID) telephone lines.
ALIProWeb™ is a PS/ALI portal service that allows customers to submit their own compiled ALI change records to the ALI DBMS of record through a simple Internet based file upload tool. This service then validates and tests each file submission and its contents, generates an update file for submission to the ALI DBMS of record, submits changes to the ALI DBMS, and reports results and potential data integrity anomalies back to the customer.
