Services

ALIPro is a hosted E911 ANI/ALI service specifically tailored to owners of private telephone systems including Private Branch Exchanges (PBX) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) gateways. The service extracts relevant data from a customer’s PBX, VOIP gateway, or telephony management system, processes the data for compatibility with an appropriate national ANI/ALI database service provider, uploads ANI/ALI data to the national database service provider, and reports data anomalies to the customer for subsequent correction.

ALIPro Service is provided as a hosted annual processing package and as a set of stand-alone related consulting, development, and deployment services.  The annual package pricing for this service is based on the number of telephone stations (actual and virtual) processed by ALIPro each processing cycle and includes the following processes and services.

Maintenance

  • Update NENA2/3 street suffix database
  • Update customer’s PBX environment database
  • Update customer’s numbering plan
  • Update customer’s location database
  • Update customer’s building floor database
  • Extract telephone service records from PBXs
  • Extract telephone service records from customer management systems
  • Process customer data to associate number data with location data
  • Process customer data for error detection
  • Compare customer data with national ANI/ALI database
  • Process and publish customer data error reports
  • Upload customer ANI/ALI data to the appropriate national ANI/ALI database
  • Download and publish national ANI/ALI error reports
  • Analyze customer data
  • Upload number translation data to customer PRI/CAMA translation hardware if applicable
  • Upload ALIPro managed data to customer’s data warehouse

Support

  • Answer customer questions via email or phone
  • Provide limited remote training
  • Respond to system problems
  • Investigate service anomalies (Note, that if problems are due to customer’s or customer’s service providers’ changes to there system hardware, software, configuration, or other
    service affecting environment, LCSI’s consultant rates will apply; no charges will apply if problems are due to LCSI or ALIPro.)
  • Run ALIPro application on request as a special, unscheduled event

In addition, consulting, development, and deployment services are provided as separate ALIPro engagements and are priced at LCSI’s current consulting rates. These services are not included in the cost of the annual ALIPro Service package. Such services include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Initial service design and setup
  • Initial database setup
  • Data conversion from existing customer systems
  • Customization of the ALIPro service interface to map with customer’s telephone management interface
  • On-site training
  • Customized training
  • Investigation or resolution of service anomalies that are the result of customer’s or customer’s service providers’ changes to there system hardware, software, configuration, or other service affecting environment
